Suspension

Suspension

    • Left/right parts interchangeable – simpler repairs and less spare parts required on hand
    • Shocks same font/rear
      • Spring rates and valving change front/rear
      • 3.25” IBP, external rebound and compression adjustments, dual-rate springs with adjustable collars
      • 11.5” stroke front, 12” rear, adjusted with hydraulic limiter internally
      • Finned reservoir rotates 360 degrees on the shock body
    • Hubs/inner CV splines the same on all 4 corners
      • All bearings are sealed and oversized
      • Bearings are interchangeable on all 4 corners
      • Front CVs are externally greasable
    • Custom Speed bolts shoulder all the way through mounting points – reduces the chance of creating oblong mounting points
      • Almost all are standard sized to minimize the number of tools needed on hand
    • Custom, replaceable monoball joints with misalignments and rubber boots built-in – allows for adjustment of suspension
    • 25” usable travel front/rear
    • No ball joints or offset tie rods
    • Tires will be a Speed branded tire with the iconic Speed “S” featured in the design
    • More negative camber at full bump for stability and helps with turning
    • Front & Rear suspension constructed from 4130 Chromoly
    • Front
      • Upper a-arms adjustable to change the alignment
      • “Double rod end monoball”
      • Optimized geometry for minimal track width change and bump steer
      • Shock angle optimized for best rising rate (compare to Can-am x3 and Yamaha yxz for most dramatic examples)
      • Forged aluminum uprights/spindles
      • All front suspension ties into the patented bulkhead
      • 7075 aluminum tie rods
      • Still negative camber at full droop
    • Rear
      • True trailing arms, no track width change in rear
      • Some positive camber at full droop to optimize CV angles for maximum travel
      • Axle plunge is adjusted with the outer pivot point, not toe
